We have some great events this year, come out and enjoy your park.
Treat your Valentine to a romantic view of the dazzling night-time San Diego skyline from Cabrillo National Monument. Stroll hand-in-hand through the grounds of the park. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy dining under the stars. Gates will open at 6pm for general admission and will remain open until 10pm. General admission is $35 per couple.
Enhance the experience…
For a very special moment with your special someone, treat them to an interlude up in the Old Lighthouse tower. We’ll have romantic lighting and music to make the moment extra special. Bring a camera and we’ll take your picture. Ticket price for general admission and the tower experience is $65 per couple.

Join us for our 3rd annual celebration of America’s Birthday! What better way to celebrate our nation than at one of its national treasures. Don’t miss an opportunity to view multiple firework shows surrounded by the natural beauty of a San Diego landmark.

Our 2014 4th of July Photo Contest Winners are definitely winners! Our two categories: the best of the fireworks, and the best scenery capturing the themes in the park. Congratulations to Tom Wickstrom for best of show in the Fireworks Division and to Gonzalo Acuña Martinez in the Scenery Division. The prize, an annual pass for entry to Cabrillo National Monument. Additionally, the photos will be used on a promotional materials for the Fourth of July event in 2015. Our heartiest congratulations and sincere thanks to both winners!

Sunrise Yoga at the Monument – June 13th, 2015 – 7:30-9:30 AM
Join us at Cabrillo National Monument before the park opens for an all levels Sunrise Yoga class overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Taught by resident yoga instructor, Alex Warneke, class will be accompanied with live handpan music by visiting artist Stevan Morris.
